BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Gianmarco Biagi has been Managing Director & CEO of Vection Technologies since 2019. Former CEO of multinational manufacturing groups and General manager of an important luxury furniture Italian group, Mr Biagi is currently a Board Member in various companies and holds institutional roles such as:
– President of AICIM (Italy Culture of Business and Management Association),
– President of the so-called Networks and Industrial Development at the national AICQ,
– Board member in AISOM (national association of companies),
– Board member in scientific and technical committee of the Italian model for risk management in healthcare of the prestigious LUISS Business School.
He is author of various publications, in particular:
“A new perspective for the industrial development of businesses” (edited by Confindustria e.),
“Tools and strategies for the international and competitive growth of companies” (published by AICQ.
NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIR OF THE BOARD
Bert Mondello has more than 20 years’ experience across both the private and public sectors. An as Executive, Mr Mondello has substantial capital markets experience and knowledge of equity markets having participated in company restructures, IPOs, RTOs, investor placements and seed raisings. Mr Mondello has extensive experience spanning multiple industries, with a specialisation in technology. Across his career, including as CEO of ZipTel Limited (ASX: ZIP), he has been pivotal in challenging the status quo with innovation in new technologies across a myriad of products and offerings. Mr Mondello holds a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Notre Dame, Australia.
Lorenzo Biagi is an experienced company manager in the private sector, with extensive knowledge in virtual reality technology, sales and cost control management. While managing corporate development processes for more than 10 years, Mr Biagi has implemented new procedures and technologies helping make the companies he worked for and with leaders in innovation.
Gianmarco Orgnoni has skills extending across corporate finance, investment banking and research analysis. He has extensive experience in offering corporate advisory and finance analysis across European and Australian private and publicly listed companies. Mr Orgnoni has worked closely with and has provided adversarial services to a number of companies spanning from civil engineering, education, technology, biotechnology and real estate. Mr Orgnoni holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Business Administration from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, Italy.
Mr Sorrento has over 12 years of experience in 3D and XR technologies with a focus on CAD, BIM and professional applications. His last experience was as CEO and co-founder of Mindesk, a crossboard tech scale-up backed by VC and corporate investors like HTC ViveX. He sits in the AIASF Design Technology Committee and the Industrial Designers Society of America as Digital Enterprise Section chair. Gabriele holds a Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from Polytechnic University of Milan and trained in management at Santa Clara University as a Fulbright fellow.
